About

Bio

Alona was born in Israel and at age nine, moved to New York.

She holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she attended conservatory at The Atlantic Theatre Acting School, founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy.  She studied theatre abroad in Dublin, Ireland’s Trinity College at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.

With a double minor in English Literature and Irish Studies, Alona naturally forayed into the world of fitness! (She has extensive experience in soccer, long distance running, Modern dance & choreography). She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine with numerous specialties.

Alona had the opportunity to showcase both theatre and dance elements in the NYC Fringe Festival in ‘Maiden America’. Another stage highlight was Frank McGuniess’, ‘Carthaginians’ at NYC’s Irish Arts Center.

In her spare time, Alona is an evolving writer (screen, fiction & poetry), amateur documentarian, avid runner, reader! And a happy vegan/animal & human rights advocate.
